Is permanent makeup right for you?

Makeup-for-womenCosmetic tattooing or permanent makeup is created through a process using sterile hypoallergenic cosmetic pigments placed under the dermal layer of the skin. The process uses single use and disposable needles. The process also uses topical anesthetics to cut down the pain and make a person more comfortable during the process. In the recent past, “feather stroke” or “hair stroke” techniques have been more popular with candidates. They appear similar to person’s hair and can be applied following the direction of the eye brow growth.

The procedure may be more beneficial for those who live busy lives and don’t like to spend time doing conventional makeup. People who prefer symmetrical eyebrows, this is an excellent choice. The color of the pigmentation wears out in one to seven years mostly due to environmental conditions, use of creams and other products in and around the area, sun exposure, tanning, sweating, and many other reasons. A color boost may help to keep the makeup maintained and last longer.

But it is not a good choice for people with alopecia, a medical condition that makes people’s hands shaky, suffering from vision problems, after breast cancer or breast reconstruction surgery related condition known as areola re-pigmentation, or with allergic reaction to makeup.
